Why not use QL ?

Participate in the postings.. Laugh, cry and abuse at your leisure..

Ofcourse I would offer a ride in my KIA, but we don't want the baby arriving early..

It's true! Men also get symptoms of pregnancy, anything from tooth ache and back pains to swollen bellies and birthing pains.

The name of this strange sounding phenomenon is "Couvade" and is derived from the French word 'Couver' which means 'To Hatch' in English.

Couvade comes in two forms. In one manifestation it is brought on by the expectant father through his own actions and is associated with a cultural ritual.

In the other form, symptoms arise in a psychosomatic manner (a physical disorder caused by emotional factors). This is the form that is usually found today in the western world and it is much more common than people think. As many as 80% of all expectant fathers will experience Couvade in some form or other.

True story:

Went to one of these classes when we were expecting our first baby.

we all had to introduce ourselves. The "instructor" was a real hitler (minus the tache)

Anyway, my turn came. i said "I am so and so and my wife is expecting our first child in December".

She laid into me for saying "my wife" , rather than "we are".

I was still smarting, when the next couple stood up and the guy said " I am so and so and MY WOMAN is expecting ...."

ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE :))

I remember attending a few ante natal sessions with the wife few years ago. It was more works for me practising the breathing than the wife.

Misty Rain,

Dont afraid, when you enter to world how much your mam will have labour pain, that much pain only you will have. But After releasing your baby out, by seeing your baby face and touching it silky skin and feeding milk to the new born, really you will feel you as a angel in Heaven.

So dont afraid be prepared to face the wonderful experience to see your beautiful baby.

i am not a lady but i know how it will be.Be proud about that you are carrying a baby and very soon you are going to be promoted as mother.

Have good luck allways AND HAVE A BEAUTIFUL BABY BY NORMAL DELIVERY.

********************************************************* BE HAPPY ALLWAYS. GOD IS ALLWAYS WITH YOU DONT FEEL YOU ARE ALONE.
