I have never had the opportunity to have a look into any of the schools here. However, over the past several months I have read the advertisements and the condolence messages in the Gulf Times of some schools which boast of having native English speakers on their rolls as teaching staff. The English in the ads was simply pathetic. Just recently, one such school had a condolence message in the Gulf Times which stated "deeply mourn the sad passing of their student"! "Passing" or "passing away?" Surely, there is a difference. Surely, there is a big difference! Such ads speak much about the quality of education at these institutions.
The problem is with the long waiting lists at schools.. and since we live near Al Waab and our kid got accepted there, we are thinking about securing a place in Newton British school.
But when reading most comments about the newton shool generally..it makes me concerned.
Molten Metal, do you have a personal experience with NBS, like I mean did your kids or anyone you know attended that school and got a negative feedback?
I tutor two children who attend the Newton British School in Al Wabb and from what I have seen of their homework and information I would steer clear of that school.

If we go to one school, the management says only for NORTH INDIANS..wt-f...do u call that a school
None...i would choose that one which actually takes low cost and concentrate more on giving good education on children rather than expensive fees
