People beware!
For sure this has been posted before...:) Have you guys noticed that email & SMS scammers are targeting the Middle East now?
Everyday, my company email is receiving emails from people who claimed to be a refugee and blah, blah.. they ask for your help and also for your bank account details..
People who receives SMS about some lottery winnings in NOKIA UK are also common..
Everyone should be informed that these are nothing but HOAX! With all due respect, many Arabs are innocent about these kind of cons and they easily give details and infos.
Beware in giving personal details and be aware that if you didnt participate in any lottery, you will not win any.
wk u dint mention ur gender ...?
Comeon be human... Give your personal details to these needy people, they NEED it DESPERATELY
Here goes mine
Real Name- Rasbihari Chunawala
DOB- 30th February 2086
Bank- Kangal Bank of India
Account No.- 420
Anything else?
I am deleting almost 20-25 such e-mails everyday. Recently I am receiving one mail from [email protected] for giving my details like username, password etc. for upgrading the system. I noticed the letter E in qatar from the first mail itself.
They dont know that I am their grandfather.
I have an officemate who became a victim of this. I warned him that its a hoax but he did not believe. He even spent 4,500 riyals just to have the "documents" promised to him and as a requirement for him to work in Canada.. What's even worst, he went on-leave to their home country as he instructed these scammers to send his working visa to his home country... when he went home and about to claim his visa from the concerned embassy, he found it out that it was a hoax!!! Then that was a hit on his head!
And I thought I finally found "true lust" :-P
Thanks for alerting people who dont know
onena u r rite.. some hav just tried usin internet recently.. so thy hav to b warned!!!
it's never too late for those non-techie and uninformed people.. i have personally talked to some Arabs who really replied and give their bank account no... as stupid as it may sound to us, it is still sad to know that some people who save their hard-earned money will be scammed..
there are some innocent victims..that's why these scammers never stops..
Yah,I'm opening the company email and everyday i'm receiving these mails..asking for bank account details, telling that they are interested in u..crap.!
ok thanks...
well, you could always ignore and delete those spam messages.. why even bother wasting time to read it..
Surely no-one's that stupid to give out personal details to a stranger online!
