Private School/College rates
Hi
I am negotiating with a Dubai company to work in the Doha area. If I accept the conditions, I will live in to Doha for a few months, then if all is ok, my family will be with me.
So i have two children, one with 8 years old, and another with 2 years old.
The company pays about QR 20/25,000 year per child.
My question is, is this ok for a good private School/College? I do not know the rates from the private School/College, so if any one can help this.
Thank You

After a huge struggle I found a nursery for my boy - I start work at 8 in the morning and only knocks off at 6 in the evening - there is only 3 nurseries in the whole of Doha that stays open after 3 in the afternoon, most of them close at 1pm. So good luck - and a good nursery full day will cost you around QR27000 per annum. ...
Count on over 50k/year for the American School and Compass. Schools are expensive over here - unless you are prepared to dig deep then I'm not sure I'd come. :(
For your younger daughter. . .a five-day slot in a very good nursery will run you ~12,000 for the year, not including summer. Two and three day slots are not much less.
Excuse me, has anyone mentioned that it is almost impossible to get onto the WAITING LIST for many of the better schools in Qatar, never mind an actual school place for your child?
Doha college is Qr 8460 per term from reception to year 6, then plus capital fee Qr 3000 per year
dess is qr 8670 per term. You can check schools database link on ql. Websites links to almost all qatar shools is avaiable there. You can go to individual school site and check there.
DESS (English curriculum) will cost you over 9000 a term, and the fees generally around doha goes up 10 percents a year MINIMUM.
School like american school of doha prepare to pay over 50000 a term, plus 15000 capital fee ...
Not sure about other schools ....
