Ramada car park

On friday night we went to dairy queen and our car was parked in the second lane right infront of the main entrance of dairy queen.Around 8:45 p.m. when my husband came out he saw the door(driver's seat) opened. We were shocked to see this as all the glasses were up and the car was locked when we left it. Still we are unable to figure out how it happened. Fortunately there was nothing valuable in the car that day. Did something similar happen with someone there ? Please share it...

Reading TB's comment... I think it can be achieved by a simple Universal TV Remote... it usually copies the incoming frequencies and works with that... but the proximity has to be real close like the car parked besides yours...

But I do like the idea of the Phantom of Ramada Car Park randomly opening car doors.

We were also discussing that may be the remote got pressed by mistake while we were walking towards the restaurant and someone saw it but still the point is,one who entered the car why he left the door open??

I tend to go with the supernatural.

Just glad nothing was stolen or damaged though, InnalHamdulillah! If your hubby is most certain he locked the door, then perhaps it was just some prankster at work.. human or non human!

Well two things come to mind. The first thing is that someone used the old coat hanger (or packing tape) trick which involves pushing it down inside the door window and manually tugging up the lock mechanism. I have used this in the past when I have locked my keys in the car, and it normally leaves some kind of small damage or marks on the rubber.

The second is that someone has a bit of high tech kit that monitors car remote locking frequencies, copies the codes it receives and then is able to repeat them to unlock cars. Expensive but common in other parts of the world.

I guess the third is that the car was mistakenly left unlocked, and the fourth is that there is something supernatural occurring.

And one more thing, that night it was too crowded there, all the parkings were full because of some programme going on in Radisson..

LIB may I enquirer as to what car we are talking about here? This is curious indeed, and the make and model of the car may throw some light on how this was possible.

I had a Honda city, silver color. When I went to a shop and came back in a hurry to take my car, when put the key, noticed the key is stuck in the door lock. I managed to open it and enter the driver seat, then only realized its not my car. But alike.

It happened like this. My car was at the behind. Some one else parked the same colored, same featured (dusty), same model car just in front of mine..!! In a hurry, I didn't recognize and never expected this situation of entering into someone else's car..!!

I made a note by getting a paper from the nearby grocery and put a small message stating, my name is xxxxxxxx by mistake I entered into your car. I think the lock is damaged by mistake. please contact me on xxxxxxxxxxx. I can service the fault caused by me. And placed at the viper for a better visibility. But no one contacted me..!

So I think, it may be an error by mistake..!! What you think?? (It happened in 2010)
