Should marriage certificate be attested to bring my wife on visiting visa?

Just wanted to know if it is necessary to get the marriage certificate attested for bringing my wife to qatar on a visit visa.I was previously working at UAE and have only recently shifted to qatar.i had already attested the marriage certificate for getting a UAE family visa for her which she got ,when i had to change job to qatar due to recession.If this is not possible is there any option to bring her on a tourist visa?please do help me out.I am just recently married....

Yes attestation of marriage certificate by govt of ur country and govt of qatar is necessary

The Immigration Deptt will ask the Marriage Certificate to be attested by the following Authorities:

1. Foreign Office of Your Country of Origin.

2. Embassy of your country of Origin in Doha, Qatar.

3. Foreign Office of Qatar.(In Old Salata Area)
