Just do not go to Sheraton, cubes, and these cheap places.. I am new to Qatar as well.. I came from the US and boy, I had the worst experience anyone can have at Sheraton last night. If you have a girl with you, expect all men to hit on her, and if you are the type that can't take shit from no one, then get ready for a few un fair fights buddy with like 6 punks on you alone, beat up one and they all run away tho hehe
Expensive places like W hotel, are worth going to since they do not allow junkies to enter.
By the way, do you guys have a QL community club that meets up once in a while? I am curious to make friends in here and it would be cool to meet some quality educated people...
