Sponsoring my mother on family visit visa

Hello all,

I got my Qatar's resident permit just 2 days ago, and I and my husband are living in Qatar for 2 months now. My husband is the only one working for now, and I am staying at home. My husband got his resident permit 2 weeks ago.

Now, I wish to sponsor my mother to come to Qatar for around 3 months to stay with us. Can she come here on Family Visit Visa? Can she get visa extensions and stay in Qatar for 3 months with us (or does she need to exit and enter again)? What documents are required for acquiring my mother's family visit visa? Can I sponsor her or my husband has to do it since he is my sponsor, and he is the only one earning money rightnow. In this case, does my husband require NOC from his company?

P.S. I am using my husband's QL ID, so do not get confused!

Regards

Thanks so much all of you for your replies to my query. In addition to the documents mentioned by Khanan and aashghar, dont I need to provide a proof to the Immigration department that my mother is actually my mother. Dont I need to provide a birth certificate or some other document in order to prove that; otherwise how will the Immigration office know if she is my mother or some unknown woman that I am sponsoring on family visit visa. If my query is correct and I do need to provide my birth certificate showing that the applicant is genuinely my mother, then my problem is that my original birth certificate is in Urdu. Do I need to get it verified from Pakistani Embassy in Qatar? If yes, it is such a painful process because they'll ask to get the birth certificate verified from Ministy of Foreign Affairs first in which case I need to send it to Pakistan. Is there a way of getting out of this painful process, please help me?

Regards

The visa processing is based on which immigration office you submit the application. I have recently received the visit visa for my inlaws after 30 minutes of submission.

well time usually takes 1 to 2 days. In addition to the docs given by Khanan, you will also need a NOC from your husband's employer / sponsor.
