sponsoring philipina nanny

hello,
we just arrived in Doha, family with two kids (2&4 YRS old) and a third one on it's way.
Looks like you have to sponsor a nanny directly from her country to get a "live in" in Doha, am I wrong ? Does anybody know the monthly salary and how much the visa etc. costs ? should we buy her the plane tickets, etc ? Thank you for your help. S.

You should probably go through an agency for this rather than attempting to do it direct. I am given to understand that the process is complicated and takes 4-6 weeks to complete.
