on the head. I was one of those crazy people who pull up to cars at the stoplight and plead to parents to put their kids in carseats/seatbelts etc. The response was always "but they cry" My reply was"I'd rather have a crying kid who was alive rather than a quiet dead kid" At this point they always rolled the window up and ignored me. After a few years I stopped trying to teach them.

The video says it all, sis. Scary but true..If they(the reckless parents of unbelted kids) only but knew *sighs*

Amen to that.

What i have noticed recently is that these kids are standing on the front seats but not with parents with the drivers. Now i cant imagine if something happens and the driver needs to please explain. But then the kids dont listen to the driver in the first place. catch 22.

Fubar, I AM a good driver, but you can't always allow for "the other guy" who isn't.

I’m of the belief that the only reason parents don’t use safety belts and booster seats etc for their children is because their offspring is so unruly that the parents can’t be bothered with the tears and tantrums involved in buckling them up.

Excuses like ‘what are the odds’ or ‘I’m a good driver’ or ‘if their time is up, their time is up’ is just a convenient way to cover up the fact that they have no patience dealing with their petulant children.

When I was young, the car didn’t start until everyone was buckled up safely. Apparently here it’s just considered normal and fine to let the little monsters bounce around the cabin.

Gore, that's the "Inshallah" attitude. I hate it too. I guess it was his god's will to make him stupid!

That's sickening. What a terrible attitude to have and what arrogance and surety! Truly people with views like that should not be allowed to reproduce..them having kids is a criminal offence IMO!

TFS... I always make sure that my little one is always seated on his car seat and well protected while driving.

Legally, one must use a child car seat until the child is 135cm tall.

It is important for families to understand the importance of using a safety seat for babies and infants.

Ive seen a lot of this, and seriously cant believe how parents/drivers have their children standing on front seat or hanging out windows.

It sickens me to the bottom of my stomach just to think of what could happen.

When i was in Q8 i had asked a local about this and his response to me was, Well yani if it is time to go then its time to go, i will make another baby.
