1. Mughal-e-Azam 2019

Where: Qatar National Convention Center

Time: 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm

The classic film, Mughal-e-Azam by K Asif whose dialogues and music brings back memories of many generations is turned into a stage musical by award-winning director, Feroz Abbas Khan.

Mughal-e-Azam follows the story of the Mughal Prince Salim who openly declares his love for a lowly court dancer, Anarkali and leads a rebellion against his mighty father, Emperor Akbar, who rejects their relationship.

This show has all the dramatic elements one would expect from a musical, including thunderous dialogues, melodious songs, and mesmerizing dance sequences.

The play has set a new benchmark for Indian theatre. Be it the extravagant sets or the Mughal era costumes by Manish Malhotra, the breathtaking choreography by Mayuri Upadhyay or the live singing by the lead actors.

2. Doha Burger Festival 2019

The delicious Doha Burger Festival is back with its third edition!

The festival focuses and exposes the growing market of the burger industry in the region and on bringing the community together for 10 days.

The festival will also include many online and offline activities, entertainment sections, as well as dedicated areas for children and families to enjoy themselves.

Taste the best burgers in town at this year’s burger festival. You can park opposite to the Khalifa Stadium.

3. Al Wakalat Car Market

Where: Aspire Zone, opposite Furousiya street

Time: 12:00 pm to 12:00 am

Entry: Entry is free for all

Al Wakalat Car Market aims to bring together car enthusiasts, prospective buyers, and automotive retailers with the best deals of the year in one location.

The event will also enable visitors to have access to cars at their best offers of the year, which ensure to clear out stocks of approved cars, MY17 and MY18. The focus will be mainly on 2018, 2017 models, and approved used cars, which is a great opportunity for dealers to sell their old models.

Each buyer will automatically enter a draw and the prize for the winner will be a brand-new car!

In addition to that, there will be restaurants, cafes, and a lot of entertainment activities for all ages.

4. FIFA Club World Cup 2019

Where: Khalifa International Stadium and Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium

Entry: Tickets for the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup are available at FIFA’s ticketing portal: FIFA.com/tickets.

The FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2019, presented by Alibaba Cloud, is the 16th edition of the FIFA-organized annual international club football tournament which is held between the winners of the six continental confederations, as well as the host nation's league champions.

This year's tournament will be hosted from December 11 to 21 at three venues in Qatar. Qatar was appointed as the host for the 2019 and 2020 tournaments on June 3, 2019, serving as test events ahead of Qatar's hosting of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Participating clubs: Flamengo, Liverpool, Espérance de Tunis, Al-Hilal, CF Monterrey, Hienghène Sport, Al Sadd.

5. Darb Al Saai 2019

Dates: December 12-20, 2019

Where: Darb Al Saai ground (in Al Sadd)

Time: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm to 10:00 pm.

Entry: Entry is free for all

This year’s Qatar National Day celebrations will kick off at the Darb Al Saai ground on December 12.

The celebration ground will be filled with stalls and shows highlighting Qatari culture, will have an atmosphere charged with emotions of patriotism, pride, and national identity.

Darb Al Saai means ‘Route of the Messenger,’ used by delegates whom Qatar’s founder would entrust to deliver his instructions and directives. These men were known for their outstanding character traits such as loyalty, obedience, courage, and insight on account of which they were chosen to play such a sensitive role in those difficult times.

The events will begin soon after the official opening ceremony, which is set for 3:30 pm on Thursday. The festivities will continue until 11:00 pm. Darb Al Saai grounds will be open until December 20. Specific slots have been allotted to families and women, besides the general public.

6. Double the fun at BOUNCE
