One of the most highly anticipated events in Qatar’s calendar, The Color Run presented by Sahtak Awalan: Your Health First, an initiative of Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar, is happening this Saturday, 25 January 2020, at the Qatar National Convention Centre.
As part of the worldwide “Love Tour”, the fun-filled day will be spreading joy and raising awareness of the health benefits of keeping an active lifestyle.
The sixth edition of the Color Run in Qatar enjoys the fun spirit that the event is known for all around the world. Participants will be soaked in bright colors as they run, walk, skip or jog along the 5km course with their family and friends.
Everyone will celebrate their achievements at the end with prizes, music, photo opportunities, and a myriad of cherished moments.
Brought to the public by Sahtak Awalan: Your Health First, the flagship health campaign of Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar, the Color Run aims to attract everyone in Doha to participate in an exhilarating and colorful experience in order to encourage them to adopt a healthy and vigorous lifestyle.

2. QNB 2020 Qatar Winter Dragon Boat Festival

Row, paddle, hurry up! Qatar's largest water sports, Winter Dragon Boat Festival is back to show us their fast rowing skills.
Dragon boating is a canoe-sport and was originally a traditional festival game dating back 2000 years throughout Southern China. It has now become a popular sport with competitions held around the world.

3. Chinese New Year celebrations

The Bollywood’s versatile singers, Sonu Nigam is going to grace the stage with his performance on January 23, 2020, at Asian Town Amphitheater, Doha-Qatar.
The show will be hosted by Q-Tickets.
Sonu Nigam is widely regarded to be the best male singer in India. He started performing from an early age, but national fame eluded him until he joined the cast of reality TV show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa back in 1995. Today he is a multitalented composer as well as a playback singer.
Born in Faridabad in the northern Indian state of Haryana, the only son of singer/composer Agam Kumar Nigam, he showed an early talent for singing and impersonations.
His vast repertoire of multilingual renditions has won him a fan base that includes influential vocalists starting from Kerala all the way to Kashmir including K.J. Yesudas, Manna Dey, the Mangeshkar sisters, Shreya Ghoshal, and Sunidhi Chauhan.
So it’s time to tune in some soulful songs of Sonu Nigam as he makes his way to the city of Doha!

This year’s Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) Park Bazaar, a seasonal weekend market, is proving popular since it opened to the public last weekend. For home-based business owners especially, it has proven to be an opportunity to boost trade and increase exposure.
MIA Bazaar has got a vibrant mix of 120 stalls and new ones will constantly pop up. MIA Park Bazaar is a modern version of the old souq tradition.
