1. Messi10 by Cirque du Soleil

Experience a mesmerizing live show where the stadium’s electric atmosphere meets the theatre’s intimacy as Messi10 by Cirque du Soleil comes to Qatar.

Promising to be a stunning, fan-fueled inspiring live show, Messi10 by Cirque du Soleil acrobatically uncovers the athleticism, devotion, and brilliance that bridges the world of football and circus by celebrating the magic behind the greatest footballer of our time.

In a stunning display of 47 Artist from 19 different countries (Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Kazakhstan, Spain, Russia, Switzerland, Taiwan, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and the United States) leads the audience on a euphoric 90-minute thrill ride.

Messi10 by Cirque du Soleil combines classical circus acts such as trampoline, trapeze and tightrope artists with never-before-seen disciplines, audiovisual material and videos highlighting Messi’s best plays, as well as exclusive images especially produced for the show.

2. Biryab Festival

Dates: February 28 - March 9, 2020

Where: Al Bidda Park, beside Fire Station

Time: 12:00 pm to 12:00 am

Everyone unanimously loves indulging in is the mouth-watering Biryani and Kebab. So foodies, get ready to tantalize your taste buds as the first-of-its-kind, Biryab Festival is here!

The most flavorful festival is taking place until March 9, 12:00 pm to 12:00 am at Al Bidda Park, beside Fire Station.

Biryab is the cultural heritage of Indian, Persian, and Levant cuisine. A festival of tempest flavors from the origins of countries serving soul healing Biryani’s and melt-in-the-mouth Kebabs. Enjoy the scrumptious Awadhi, Kolkata, Hyderabadi, Ambur, Mumbai, Thalassery and Sindhi Biryanis cooked by renowned restaurants in Qatar.

Witness live cooking of mouth-watering kebabs by renowned restaurants in Qatar to satiate your taste buds.

3. 2020 Grand Prix of Qatar

Dates: March 6-8, 2020

Where: Losail International Circuit

Entry: Book your tickets online

Time: 10:00 am to 10:00 pm

Moto2 and Moto3 races will take place from March 6-8, 2020 at the brilliant Losail International Circuit, which is located on the outskirts of Doha, Qatar.

You can watch the races with friends or family in an open-air setting where you will be surrounded by the uproar of larger crowds.

4. Katara Winter Festival & Bazaar

Dates:  February 26 to March 14, 2020

Where: Katara Cultural Village

Entry: Entry is free for all

Katara Winter Festival & Bazaar features a wide selection of products such as abayas, jalabiyas, perfumes, home fragrances, handbags, footwear, and much from all over the world. Food items including herbs, spices, dates, honey, pickles, dry fruits, desserts are also available at the Bazaar.

If you are planning to decorate your home, you can check out the home décor section which features handicrafts, carpets, prayer rugs, and much more. In addition to these, you can enjoy some traditional food items, karak, coffee, and much more with the whole family.

The festival is easily accessible by the metro. You can take the Red Line and get down at Al Qassar metro station. You can also get down at Red Line- Katara station, there are club cars which will transport you from the station to the festival.

5. Thai Culture & Food Festival 2020

Dates: March 6, 2020

Where: Royal Thai Embassy Doha

Time: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm

Entry: Entry is free for all

This weekend immerse in Thai Culture as the Royal Thai Embassy Doha is hosting Thai Culture and Food Festival. The festival will feature Thai food, Thai products, a handicraft workshop, Thai cooking demonstration, handmade crafts, and much more.

6. A musical evening in Paris

Dates: March 5, 2020

Where: Drama Theater, Building 16, Katara Cultural Village

Time: 7:30 pm

Entry: Entry is free for all (Registration required)

The Cultural Village Foundation – Katara in cooperation with the Embassy of France in Qatar presents “A musical evening in Paris.”
