The law says to have a medical checkup for those who wants to stay more than one month. But in my case, I haven't done any medical checkup for my mom while she was here for 3 months visit. Better check it with the typist.

Go to the Madina Khalifa Immigration Office. Get the application typed by a typist (Sitting inside the porta cabins at the right side of the building). Then Go to Gate No. 4. Take a coupon and wait for ur chance. When ur chance comes, go to the counter, pay the required amount (QR 200/Month)and get it extented. They receive only card payments. Don't forget to take ur parents passports and visa together with the sponsors id/passport. Go early in the morning. Sometimes it takes only 10 min and sometimes ........ 3 - 4 hours in 'Q'
