Hello All,

I brought my mom with me on Visit Visa last month. Got the extension as well. But the problem is I can't leave her back in my own country, as she is all alone and there is no one to take care of her.

Is there any possibility that I could get my mom permanent residence here in Qatar. I have a reputable job and can completely afford her expenses. Is there anybody on QL who can help me in this regard.

Please give me a call at 55627443 if you think you can help me.

This is a genuine problem and will really appreciate if somebody can help me out.

Follow the procedures and apply for the resident visa, yourself only can do it better than anybody else if you have confidence. go to the immigration and there are lot of people.. ask the procedure, if he says that he doesnt speak english, go to another one.. till you get the proper answer do it. if you try you can get it. everything need is self confidence.

All the best.

MOI has only one thing to say "LA"

There is no way that MOI will issue a permanent residence for my mom.

One of my colleague has tried a lot for his mom (same case as mine).

He even wrote letters to the Emir, but all in vain.
