What is the best approach to finding nanny/maid in Doha?

I would like to know how to go about finding a nanny in Doha to look after two small children.
Whom do you contact - are there agencies around?
What are the rates of pay for part time (say three days a week)?
How would this compare to having a live in maid in terms of cost? Do maids also look after children?

Help appreciated.

If you/your husband can sponsor her, that would always be the best option. There are a lot of agencies here in Doha that can provide you with CV's of ladies and the nationality that you preferred. Once you get your visa ready for her, the agency could then proceed with their paper works. Last month, I contacted one and I was asked to pay 7,500 for processing fee and ticket from country of origin for a sri lankan nanny.
