220, but rethink about it before you ship anything from there, with the shipping cost you can buy all what you need from here, also u can get good deals for the used items

220 is the electrical voltage in here but using a inverter you can alter the volt to supply the 110 that suite your equiment

Well,

there is two issues here:

in Doha, we use the 220/50hz supply.

Now most of the manufacturer produce a double voltage unit and double frequency supply.

so if your unit have a 220/110 50/60 Hz, go ahead and bring it along....

now in case the Voltage only is 110 were your frequency is 50/60 , you can easily buy a voltage transformer locally.

SO, to get to the point, the main concern is the frequency, if it says only 60 Hz, leave the unit home....

You can buy power converters but it's really not worth it since they don't work really well. If you are talking a week long vacation it's worth it, but if you want to keep things on them long-term you'll end up frying them. Buy the stuff here.

I use my US laptop here and just have a plug converter (get the 3 prong kind for Qatar, not the 2 prong) since the box on the cord is adequate for conversion of voltage. So, stuff like computers and camera chargers that have built in conversion are fine but other than that don't waste your space....

voltage is 220 - American appliances will not work directly. You can buy step down transformers fairly reasonably, but it's not worth bringing every appliance you own, particularly those that are more than 500w IMHO.

I have a few step down transformers for low wattage items (computer etc.) but appliances here are relatively cheap and you may be able to pick up the needful secondhand.
