When is 2nd Eid? Is it on 26th, 27th or 28th October? Any newspaper or agency has confirmed any date? If any of these dates, how many holidays will be there for private sector?

other than "Gulfnews" to where it mentions Saudi has announced today to be the 1st of Dhul Hijjah...I'm looking high and low and can't find any other source! Cos after all the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are considered the best days in Islam.

osama, the possibility is for 26th as last month (Hijri) was 29 days and to get a consecutive month with 29 days is bit abnormal. It is my point of view and might not be correct.

haha dude please don't start picking on peoples' english and spelling; it will snowball into an ongoing thing like that whole 'not relevant to qatar' cr*pshoot lol. if there's one thing that I really appreciate about QL, its the fact that everyone respectfully ignores the various mistakes we all make in our use of the english language. its most folks' second language, even native speakers frequently make mistakes and cosmopolitan forums are not the place to correct or pick on language mistake:-)

It should be on Friday, 26th Oct. Holidays in Private Sector as per labour law is 3 working days but it depends on the Company. It should be from Friday to Tuesday and if you are asked to resume before Wednesday then you are eligible for extra hours or extra day off.
