I used to live by the airport...wasn't great...now live in West Bay and it's 100 times better! Less traffic, more space, close to The Pearl, Intercon etc and City Center. 20 mins to the Airport...brilliant.

Depends on budget, work location, schools etc though for sure.

Good luck with it.

Come and get a nice apartment on the pearl it's very amazing a bit quiet but i reckon thats a temporary thing but other that there are one million reasons why people should live out here :)

Go for Al Sadd. Easy access to the malls, corniche, restaurants and supermarkets.

Where to live in Doha?? good question...usually that selection depends upon the location of the office, ease of access/traffic at peak times, school for the kids, facilities nearby...etc.

So in the end depending on where you are going to work you may choose the "living" zone.

Most people I know go for the Al Waab area (heading to Vilagio mall), others prefer West Bay (city center) and many others prefer the Al Sadd area.

Regards!!
