The 11th edition of Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) brings award-winning chefs to perform live at the cooking theatre with daily cooking contests, culinary workshops, and entertainment. The final week will include a festival located at Al Bidda Park with over 140 vendors from regional and international markets.

As a part of Qatar Tourism’s strategy, QIFF plans to grow and diversify the country’s tourism offering, particularly in the area of family and urban entertainment. The collaboration of partners enabled the growth and potential to become one of the most-anticipated events in Qatar’s growing calendar of annual festivals and events.

QIFF Cooking Theatre presents a live daily show with at least two events, along with cooking demonstrations by chefs and competitions from 16:00 – 21:00 on weekdays and 17:00 – 23:00 on weekends.

The Chef’s Table provides diners the opportunity to sit and eat with the chef who prepared their meal. The restaurants below will be participating in this week’s Chef’s Table:

Hakkasan with Executive Chef Ho Yiek Chung on Monday, 13 December.
Bibo by Chef Dani Garcia with Executive Chef Santiago Guerrero on Wednesday, 15 December.
La Bodega Negra with Executive Chef Aaj Fernando from 13 December to 15 December.

The following are participants attending through the week until 17th of December:

Scalini with Executive Chef Roberto Apa
Riyasat with Executive Chef Grenal Godinho
Zengo with Chef Hari Wahyudin
Toro with Chef Arturo Mendez
Maya with Chef Sergio Peña

Live family entertainment options are plenty, with a mix of live music and DJs, roaming shows, mini golf, trampolines, a hot air balloon experience, carnival games, and more. Folk traditional bands from both local and international parts of the region will display their musical styles bringing a  multicultural experience. The notable performances are as follows:

Harget Kart will perform at 8pm on Wednesday, December 15
Music Vending Machine will perform at 6.30pm, 7.15pm and 8.15pm on Thursday, December 16
