The highly anticipated Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition returns

The 18th edition of the renowned Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition will take place from May 9-14 2022. This year’s exhibition will be held at Doha Exhibition and Conference Center (DECC), with over 500 brands from over 10 countries displaying some of their classics as well as innovative new pieces.

An event that offers an exceptional luxury experience, DJWE is open to all with its free entrance policy. All you need to do is register in advance and take advantage of the talent and gems this place has to offer. From workshops to alluring pavilions and of course, the ornate pieces displayed for your viewing pleasure, DJWE gives everyone and anyone a chance to socialise and network with the glamour industry in one of the most chic events in the country.

What to expect at DJWE ‘22

After a two year break due to the pandemic, this year’s exhibition will be featuring an array of activities and knowledge, dynamic pavilions that showcase craftsmanship and a unique experience for all jewellery and timepieces connoisseurs to learn, buy and view according to their taste and pleasure. 

All booths showcase their brand’s identity and are often decorated in elegant, luminous styles. This year, Turkish and Indian pavilions are being awarded a special platform to celebrate their long-standing relationship with the Middle East, giving the countries a chance to showcase a selection of their jewellery pieces, allowing the audience a chance to learn about their cultural and intriguing aesthetics.

What’s new at DJWE?

Given how the event is a leading player in the global jewellery and watches market, in addition to experts leading workshops that cover jewels, diamonds and technicalities of watch and jewellery products, this year the audience will experience the DJWE Lounge, where they will have an immersive experience of jewellery-themed movies, adding more value to the occasion.

Young Qatari designers

Allowing local talent to showcase their breathtaking pieces every year, this year’s DJWE experience is giving 10 emerging Qatari designers the platform to display a wealth of unique ways to express themselves in form of jewellery, as experts have hand picked them to showcase the country’s flourishing creative. Qatar’s own iconic brands will also be displaying their luxurious pieces at the event.

The face of DJWE’ 22

This year, Bollywood’s sweetheart, Alia Bhatt will be at the opening ceremony, bringing in the excitement of locals and expats as she takes the centre stage as the face of the DJWE global campaign.

From names like Cartier to Louis Vuitton, DJWE is known to bring in a global luxury experience like no other. DJWE continues to be the heart of luxury and glamour where legacy, art, beauty and unique craftsmanship come together to tell a story.
