Urban Outfitters has opened its first Qatar location at Place Vendome
International fashion giant, Urban Outfitters made its Qatar debut with its first store open at Place Vendôme on 20 April 2022. The 600 sqm retail space showcases the brand’s experiential foundations with a product range spanning across four key categories: womenswear, menswear, home, and lifestyle.
Boasting an impressive array of global brands and a selection of niche and exclusive labels including the likes of BDG, iets frans…, Champion, Fila, and a collection of handpicked vintage clothing known as Urban Renewal, plus more, Urban Outfitters at Place Vendôme is a space for like-minded individuals to come together as a community to celebrate creativity and individual style.
With originality at its core, the brand creates a unique retail environment for its Middle Eastern audience through a well-curated mix of fashion and accessories that ranges from seasonal edits for a first look into the latest trends, including dresses, denim, and graphics, to shoes, hats, and bags, and a collection of selected vintage attire.
Embracing the UO lifestyle, the brand’s new outlet also features a range of home and interior essentials including bedding, tapestries, rugs, art, and décor, in addition to its music and entertainment collection which is known as the go-to destination for vinyl, books, instant and analogue cameras, tech accessories, games and gadgets.
The department comes complete with a selection of wellness and beauty favourites too – think calming diffusers, rejuvenating oils, skincare staples and on-trend make-up buys – Urban Outfitters offers a holistic shopping experience from the minute you step in store.
A true embodiment of the UO culture, the store champions a youthful and original aesthetic through an authentic yet contemporary atmosphere. The raw, concrete-finished floor is complemented by high, exposed ceilings to create a modern-industrial atmosphere, accentuated by light wood and steel fixtures that flaunt clean lines and functional design. The storefront sets the scene with a lush green window display that celebrates the ‘UO Grow’ concept, with cascading planters providing a welcoming entrance.
Along with dedicated areas for each product category, the space is further divided into key seasonal trends and permanent collections to include: a ‘graphic tee house’ which showcases a variety of much-coveted printed t-shirts, an exclusive ‘BDG denim shop’ for the brand’s best-selling styles and an ‘Urban Renewal’ display of vintage clothing that has been remade using recycled fabrics.
From the US and London to Barcelona and Dubai, Urban Outfitters has become a global destination for young creatives to shop cult clothing brands, unique accessories, and authentic homeware, and now it arrives in Qatar.
