Another Peninsula Funny
Sub-editors are there to prise out the mistakes in journalists copy.
They miss them sometimes.
But the one below was more than unfortunate given the topic of the article.
In the article entitled 'Demand high for QU graduates: Study' we find this gem:
'..... a recent survey conducted by Qatar University said that QU graduates are equipped with good skills and capability for local jobs and are well-worse in Arabic'
I think they meant 'well-versed'

Like it.. The sub editors probably leave it to spell checker..
If the graduates at QU are the same ones hired by the penisular, then that would explain it
Who proofreads these stuff anyway? Me thinks the person in question needs a little reprimanding as does the journalist!
In any case I hope non of them were QU graduates...that would just be too ironical!
