Let me conclude/close this thread as it turned out not to be very funny, plus, ‘Idea’ is found, and No Guess needed-

Inherent purpose of this thread, and other such previous threads, was to persuade Indian Qlers to be active in QLIG at least for their petty internal issues but to no avail. Apparently QLIG itself is futile and incompetently managed. Perhaps it reminds us as if there’s another clueless UPA regime in QLIG.

It’ll remain like this as it deserve. We’ll keep on reading Times of India in QL main forums. :(

Good thing is, I grown up to league of people beyond groups, being a free soul. The funniest part however is- I find some people, alike me, who have truly only one identity, being Indian, amidst dozens of superimposing identities/groups, are NOT part of QLIG. :)

So the bottom-line is- yalla, let’s play it here, play it safe, and play it Right.

Let the descent, enlightened QLing prevail !!!!

Its the result of the site design and the browsing difficulties I guess.MOst of the users uses the "ne forums" and "recent comments" to reach a thread / page. where the group posts can be accessed only from the "menu" and "recent posts".

Unless you go to that you wouldnt even know there is a post in the group.

I don't think it would work. Indians have as much right to post in an 'English' thread as anybody and I suspect they would invite debate into an 'Indian' thread.

Only yesterday we were having a laugh about a British Comedy called Spitting Image and many other nationanlities joined in just fine, including some Indians.

whatever group you are in, try to bring your people closer! likewise some groups on ql are doing great & long lasting... it wouldn't be possible by an individual's effort...

sometimes homely issues get a different perspective when discussed or brought out of the home....I dont get unnerved by it... moreover as the adage goes "if you dont like it, ignore it"...isn't it simple...:)

Beats me, post a news in Indian group and 2 people respond and post the same news in main forum and 200 posts are there. That's why I quit all the nationality based groups as they don't mean anything anyway.
