Dhow captain got stuck in toilet
A Dhow has run aground while its captain was stuck in the bathroom.
One tourist managed to slow the boat down, but the dhow,carrying 20 expatriates, slammed onto a rock near the shore of Banana Island, the Cornishe coastguard said.
The captain got stuck in the bathroom because of a jammed lock and yelled for help, the coastguard said.
Some expatriates were bruised and tableware was broken in the incident.
“He was stuck in the toilet. As soon as one expatriate got the door open, it was too late,” said the head of investigation.

Any body from Karnataka India can confirm the Plane Crash and the same year any person from KOCHI(I think) can confirm the incident of Air India Nosediving Several thousand meters almost touching the sound threshold and later the plane was grounded.
another happened around same time with Emirates too!
it lost its altitude for a couple of kilometers due to Sever turbulence. check the you tube it might help to get the details

Not funny- This incident occurred soon couple of weeks after an Air India Airliner Crashed at Manglore Airport while landing over shooting off the runway.
remember this is the funnies section......

The same situ happened with Airliner Captain too.
Air India From UAE to Kerala on the way over Arabian sea the Captain left his seat for toilet and the co-pilot was not so experienced consequently the plane dived nose down several thousand meters until captain could unlock the cockpit door which was locked after him !

Last year we hired a Dhow to go to Banana Island. The engine cut out. If it wasn't for a clever and helpful passenger, who was prepared to go below deck into the engine room to fix the problem. We would have been stranded out at sea!!!! The whole boat was falling apart and when we took a closer look at the engine, we could see how it was being held together with tape and cable ties. I'm gonna think twice about going out on one of them again. The worst part is that the "captain" and crew had absolutely no idea how to fix it.
OMG, we are suppose to try it this coming weekend.

I am confused. I thought Dhows didn't have toilets. People use a platform with a hole at the back of the ship ..

i know its a bad news but still this news made me smile and laugh.... i wish i was in that dhow...
and what if it was a plane captain... think think what if flight's captain gets stuck in the toilet and the other pilot stucks somewhere else in the plane...
