Do you love it ?

One sunny day in January, 2009 an old man approached the White House from Across Pennsylvania Avenue, where he'd been sitting on a park bench. He spoke to the U.S. Marine standing guard and said, "I would like to go in and meet with President Bush."

The Marine looked at the man and said, "Sir, Mr. Bush is no longer president and no longer resides here."

The old man said, "Okay", and walked away.

The following day, the same man approached the White House and said to the same Marine, "I would like to go in and meet with President Bush."

The Marine again told the man, "Sir, as I said yesterday, Mr. Bush is no longer president and no longer resides here."

The man thanked him and, again, just walked away.

The third day, the same man approached the White House and spoke to the very same U.S. Marine, saying "I would like to go in and meet with President Bush."

The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looked at the man and said, "Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mr. Bush. I've told you already that Mr. Bush is no longer the president and no longer resides here. Don't you understand?"

The old man looked at the Marine and said, "Oh, I understand. I just love hearing it."

The Marine snapped to attention, saluted, and said, "See you tomorrow, Sir."

Weapon/ military is just a small part of it my friend...

All of the major companies in US will benifit if they were to win the war...this means (SHELL) will definetly benifit...infrastrucutre projects will kick off...power, roads, Boeing will sell more and the list goes on and on..

Why do you think Canada and UK went with the US on that war? plz dont tell me they are after terrorists...becuase US promised to give some of the SPOILS OF WAR to those countries fighting with them...but glad that they all LOST

And I know some of them are made just for political reasons but somehow agree with you Stallion. Because we can say that main part of US economy depends on weapon/military industry. And what will they do with all those weapons if there are no wars around. All their stocks were full for all those bombs/rockets and other weapons. And Bush gave them what they want. What I do not understand is how can people so cruel and support a "warrior" President for economical purposes.

Bush is a reflection of what his people want...come on.

At the start of the war I was in the US...and a friend of mine (American) was saying this war is essential for our economy...and this and that...I was sooo shocked !.. but when I Saw the news and how much support he got at that time I realised Bush would not do it on his own without his people back up...

in 2003 I saw thousands of people marching on the streets supporting bush...but just like when the victorous conquirer NAPOLEON was dumped in an island because of loosing a war...same goes with any defeated leader.

I have never understood how he was able to get so much votes from US citizens.

Do they hate him for killing millions of innocent civilians? or just because of the economic crisis?

I think it is the latter...people lives are not that important

Bush used to score very high 60-70% in popularity polls earlier in 2003...as he began to lose and economy started to suffer then people started going against him
