saeedkan, What Gabbar and Ansu said about you is correct. Accept this and move on. 'Peoples' is really funny. Hey what is 'kindself'?

Gabbar is right you should work on your reading as well as develop some common sense. He did not call you a Paki. Read again. Well, get someone's help to read it for you and explain.

"Your English is excellent as per Paki standards!" does not say you are a Paki.

Lafanga, Remember living in glasshouse

saeedkan, Hello 'peoples'! Your English is excellent as per Paki standards! Your IQ is so high that you read 'English' everywhere.. Who said Ansu is an English teacher? You should work on your reading comprehension. Where is the common sense boy? Ask some mature person to read Ansu's original post and tell you what she meant. Internet connection is not a license to spread idiocy online.

Did i ever mention that I am an English teacher? is it that only an English teacher can read or write English? This posting was just an eye opener for every one about what they post. No one is perfect in this world but one must always try to learn. When i read about your previous comment on other forum topic, I have analysed that even you are not that bad at insulting people.SPECIALLY THE MALBARIS Why are you trying to correct others when you are no better than others?

by the way RUMAILAH IS VERY FAR..ANYWAYS WILL TRY TO GET THERE....LOL..

2) I learned English from grade 5 onwards....do I need to say anything more...Neither I am a convent student.

3) You remain happy with your own thoughts I did't asked for your favour either.

4) Its up to the person how you take it..Sorry to say Mr Saeed...I apologize if you are hurt :D

I never said I am perfect, did I?

Did you see me making fun of someone else for this?

It's nice to know that you know a popular saying, maybe you should learn it's appropriate use too.

Lafange, you posted 4 lines with 4 mistakes. Have you heard the proverb about living in glass house?

ansu has no comparison with you. She writes well.

ansu if English was taught in your school from grade 1 it doesn't mean that everyone had the same.

By the way I noticed atleast 10 grammatical errors in your last post. You want me to point them out and laugh at you?

Mr Saeedkhan,pepperstrom...Do you expect this kind of english from an english tutor, who has done her BA in English literature?? Its not about native english speaking or anything most of the people are learning english right from grade 1.Its all about how much hardwork one put in to learn about a subject. If its some other language, we can understand but with english language,i.e something everyone starts learning from kinder garden There are some people who just decide to go ahead the way they learned something ,as there is a popular saying "its very difficult to unlearn the learn". thanks safari...I was not insulting its just under the subject funny advertisement.

I can understand the grammar teacher one but for the rest why is someone's lack of proficiency in English always the butt of jokes?

Are you guys perfect in all languages spoken worldwide?

If you try speaking in their native tongues you won't even be able to get your message across, atleast these guys managed to do it.

even in the newspaper ads, sometimes they don't double check the spelling or you gave them the correct description and it will appear wrong in the ad, editors fault? just an opinion

Let us not forget that English might not be the first language/native tongue of those who made the advertisements that was why there were some errors, and it cant be that funny for me, for me it is quite insulting if we mock them...

Personally, I really love to learn speak Arabic, and honestly I still have very little knowledge about it,but native speakers of Arabic does not make fun of me when i make mistakes, instead, they even help me in a very very courteous way.. Only my two cents ;)

some of these ads are quite funny especially due to their grammatical or spelling errors. Regarding the one from the teacher advertising their skills and your pertinent reference to ansu being a teacher, if I were a teacher I would cringe from embarrasment. It is not fair to expect native English speakers to constantly correct the errors of others. Ansu was not making fun of others but pointing out the humor in them. That's why it was posted under "Funnies"

but just to give many people here a wake up call especially those who feel so smart about themselves when speaking in English....

There are many out there who use the phrase "Please do the NEEDFUL" in spoken and written communication and feel so damn great and proud about themselves. What the f*#k in the world does "please do the needful" mean? it's not only hilarious and annoying, it doesn't sound natural at all.

Maybe this post is just a wake up call...
