She is your best freid "yaaa"( a combination of the word 'YEAH'(english) and 'YAAR' (Hindi\Urdu))

I totally hear you.. I often wonder the same when I hear people say NO after a sentence. I personally find it funny as well. I guess it is just a figure of speech among Indians when they speak English.
