How do men sort their laundry?

"Filthy" and "Filthy but Wearable". :D

So if the clothes aren't dirty, then you probably don't wash them?

I must concede, you are right. Women must change clothes at least three times per day (and men do relapse without a strong woman around the house), besides that's why they sell Febreeze :D

We women change clothes so often they actually never GET dirty!!

Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked, the good fortune to run into the ones I do,and the eyesight to tell the difference.

I've always just put mine in the dirty laundry basket and after laundering it, fold it and put it away...taught both my boys how to do that also, when they were 5 years old. Still didn't keep them from doing the "smell" method when they were in college tho!

I guess the next obvious place is ironing/pressing.

And I not referring to adult diapers ;) Although, I'm sure many a college frat boy has worn those while at a party.

If your mom pampered you, you have not a clue. If you mom prepared you for life outside of the home, then you may stand a chance. If you are well off - fugghetaboutit.

"Smell checking", probably all bachelor men do it to some degree or another. I guess those men with a good 'ol factory stand a better chance at a first date :)

No way! I don't think I would :)

And for the socks, just buy the same socks, and then you can mix and match them however you like :)

In an experiment a few years ago, they took eight worn men's shirts and asked eight blidfolded women too identify the shirt that belonged to her husband using smell.

All eight got it right..

smell...if you ever watch a young man getting ready to go out, he picks up a shirt, sniffs it then if its too smelly, throws it back on the ground and picks up another one...Underwear...don't even go there...

For men, its quite an intricate process which i won't fully go into.

Suffice to say that colour, stickiness, stifness and odour play a major part in the decision making..
