please undertand Shameem that there is a huge disconnect between the way I think and u do.
I have cared for maybe 25 dogs in Qatar, Maybe 10 Cats who were sent to me by Allah! Probably He recognised that my neighbours would not pay the huge Vet bills to relieve their suffering so I had to do it!
My landlord asked me once why do u care about these animals, my answer? God sent them to me because He knew that I would help them and YOU wouldn't. There is still such a void in Qatar by lack of education and appreciation of animals, my story, Cats are ok but dogs are superior.
really? is it true... not like i have not read through the thread... but, ok so there is no such thing .. ? how about koalas, tortoise, chameleons, lizards, hmmm yes thats about it.
remaining kennels - we are looking at putting up a temporary shelter within the next few weeks, so by December we will probably be needing volunteers to come down and help out again. Please keep checking the website for info.
Well if I had a choice between giving my last bit of food to you or a dog then you have just made my mind up with one of the most inane statements ever. In fact I would let my dog eat you........
Let me see if I can rephrase this question and perhaps formulate an answer for it. You're saying that dog owners will feed their dog but not help other people out. Then you are suggesting that cat owners are more generous than dog owners?
I have had both cats and dogs in my lifetime and I don't believe owners of either are more or less generous than fellow humans. Most of the time I prefer animals to people anyways. They're usually nicer and more loving though not too big on conversation.

love me love my dawg!
got to appreciate ur place in the word before judging others
people who are kind to animals-cats and dogs- are generally kinder to people. Those that abuse animals are more likely to hurt people.
Thats why serial killers usually have a prior history of hurting animals
