CIRCUMCISION IN DOHA?

Hello there:

Maybe this cuesttion may sound stupid but I am a bit concerned about that. I would like to know if there´s any good clinic here to make circumcision surgery and if it´s covered by insurance companies (I am alliance worldwide care). The point is in spain I can do it for free but I don´t wanna go there to do it if I can do it here in my off days.

If not, how much could it cost?

Thanks everyone in advance and congrats foir this amazing forum!!

I was wondering if anyone has got an update on how much is the cost for circumcision in Doha? ( for toddler). I have read in one of the comment ( from tagazoo about 6 year ago) stating 3300 QR for such surgery, and am wondering if this is a typo error…..

Appreciate to hear any share of info

Thank you very much to all!! I guess I am gonna call to one of the hospitals and ask if my insurance covers it and if not let´s see... I guess I can do that.

How long would I need to recover quite well (to work I mean).

Thanks again!!

Did laugh at the answer, 'had it done for my son and we were quite happy with the results'. Sounds like they just painted their house!

Insurance will not cover it as its not necessary.

I had to pay for it for my son in the USA when I gave birth. It is considered elective surgery, so I doubt insurance would cover it (unless there is an underlying medical condition causing the need for it).

Hamad should be able to handle it, as well as all the private hospitals in town (Al Ahli, Doha Clinic, Al Emadi...).

Hi there,

My 2 boys got theirs at birth in Doha Clinic. We are also covered by Alliance but they dont cover delivery and postnatal care.I didnt get charged for the circumcision,so i am assuming its covered.Just make sure to ask since its a seperate procedure in yr case.I am quite happy with the result and i highly recommend DR.Abdel Aziz Khamis.

Alliance lately have changed many of their policies so make sure u r updated.

Good luck
