Aspire Zone is one of the biggest sporting facilities in Doha offering a wide range of athletic services. They offer a basic monthly membership or an all inclusive membership to all their clubs. The Hamad Aquatic Club, Aspire Academy for Sports Excellence, National Team’s Club and Ladies Club are just among their fifteen unique facilities available for those willing to challenge their fitness levels and enjoy the benefits of being a member.  With 65 clubs across the country, Fitness first has become one of the most accessible gyms here in Doha and you can practically workout whenever and wherever you want. The Great (and free) Outdoors

1. Al-Bidda Park

Open-air playground, outdoor exercise equipments and well-equipped gymnasiums are just a small glimpse of what the newly opened Al-Bidda Park has to offer. Its a multi-purpose park that offers something for everyone, and its great way to utilize the beautiful outdoors whilst enjoying incredible views of the Doha skyline. As for pet lovers, you’ll be delighted to find out that a huge portion of the park is accessible for you and your pet - which makes early morning runs a whole lot funner.

 

2. Aspire Park

 Aspire Park is a Health and Sports centre in Doha with an impressive array of facilities. They have one of the longest running tracks in town, as well as an outdoors training area with exceptional user-friendly equipment. This is a really good option for those who enjoy designated running trails, and are on a budget - as this outdoor’s facility is free of cost.


3. The Corniche Promenade

Seven kilometres long of great outdoor space for all the runners, joggers and skaters out there. The Corniche provides us with a green and economical way to squeeze in some exercise whilst enjoying spectacular views of the city. You can grab a friend, go solo, or perhaps join the numerous available running teams at the corniche for a little bit of guidance. Best part? It’s free! All you need is your training shoes and a little bit of determination.


4. The Pearl Qatar

Early morning jogs at the Pearl make any weather complaints inexcusable. It’s the perfect way to jump-start your morning and gain benefits to your fitness levels. There are plenty of flat and uncomplicated surfaces as well as more challenging ones to meet your personal agenda. Porto Arabia’s walkaway is specifically designed for joggers who can enjoy softer running grounds that are especially made for your comfort, whilst taking in the views of the parked yachts in the marina, and Doha’s skyline in a distance. The Pearl is also practically  vehicle free in the early morning, which makes it a peaceful and safe environment to start developing an early hours ritual.

Rack up new experiences and venture out of your comfort zone by joining a local watersports facility. Its a fun way to get your body moving whilst taking advantage of Doha’s sun and sea.
