Medical examination is not required for infants. But blood group is required for residence permit. Blood Group can be done at any clinic or any authorized medical laboratory.

And one more thing, you must to take Immunization Card (Green Card) for your baby vaccination. This card you will get from Health Authority free of cost. (Health Authority is located besides LULU Center, opposite of Hamad Hospital)

After receipt of green card, vaccination can be done at nearest health center.

actually you need to secure medical examination, but no need for your child to undergo the exam. you just need to fill in the form and have it signed by any available physician in medical commission.

Welcome...

For infants and children below the age of 16 years, as I recall, there are no medical exams.

Only you are required to make the exam and your children will then follow within the residence application...

Remember to get Medical Health Cards (free) for you and your kids once you get your residence. You should apply to them for the nearest health center available to your residence location (you will have to ask).
