Hey guys i wondering if any one can provide me with info on vaccinations required for children in doha. my child is going to come to doha for the first time........and where in doha i could get the vaccinations and how much does it cost.......thanks guys .....would appreciate any info ........
Hi there.Qatar has it's own Immunization calendar which might be different from the one where your child lives now.You can visit http://www.hmc.org.qa/hmcnewsite/schedule.aspx and put your child name and date of birth and you will see which vaccines are required as per Qatar calendar.I vaccinated my baby at 2 months in Doha clinic as the health centre refused to vaccinate if he did not have Resident permit, and paid QAR 600.At 4 months I went again at the Muntazah health centre and they again asked for Resident permit.I spoke to three different receptionists and eventually went through for free as "visitor child".We did wait for about 2 hours.
vaccinations are free at gov. run health centers
but first you must investigate on which s your health center ...it depends on where you live in qatar
then you must register with them - then you have to know which days they do vaccinations ..
then you have to arrive early because nowadays there are too many people there
if you would rather pay for that - there are a lots of private clinics that do vaccinations I guess they charge you 150 -200 rial per vaccinations
