Story to change your eating habits
Now I’m no nutritionist, nor am I the healthiest person out there but I am very relatable and I know that, just like you, I struggle to keep eating healthy. You want to start making changes to your body and people always tell you “don’t go on a diet, make lifestyle changes.” Well, it’s not that easy!
Let me tell you something, about a decade ago I struggled to maintain my weight. I loved junk food (as we all do) and as much as people told me I needed to stop eating all that unhealthy junk and start looking after my health, I never listened.
But one day 7 years ago, I still remember like it was yesterday, I was having a burger, fries and soda. I ate so much, I felt so bloated afterwards. It was a horrible feeling. From then on, I decided I never wanted to feel that way again.
So I quit soda and I quit burgers (fries are my life though, so quitting that is not an option). That’s all I did. I just quit those 2 things, everything else stayed the same and guess what? In just two weeks, I lost a lot of weight!
It’s amazing what a simple change like that could do. I started loving the way I felt after that. I loved that I never felt bloated and I felt light and healthy. I’m talking about a girl who used to drink soda 3 times a day every day! So if I can do it, so can you.
Because of these changes that I felt came with quitting soda and burgers, I decided I also wanted to quit deep fried food (again, with exception of fries). The changes in my eating habits kept happening every time I saw results.
So do it once, try it out, with just one change at a time and see how you feel. Once you start seeing results (and I’m not just talking about the scale, I’m talking about the way you feel) you will naturally start changing your eating habits.
