Hi to everyone! I am Max,I am an italian Engineer spending some months at Doha and I must improve my written and spoken english. I studied English in Italy and in England but it was long time ago. Here at Doha I have a lot of free time to spend, not just going to the jym, reading books and watching movies (I am a site manager of Water treatment plants, I use to work abroad a few days a month).I am looking for someone to converse with, better if a mother tongue (no courses, please). If someone is able to do it,please, contact me as soon as possible,we can talk about private lessons and fees, as I need to achieve this goal as fast as possible. I live at Alfardan tower West Bay.

Hi I think I can help you out. I live in West Bay too, however, I am only here IN Doha (not "AT" Doha :) for one more month. Let me know what you think!

Max, buon giorno!

Believe it or not, one way for you to improve your conversational English is to read, which is something that you are already doing. Read a lot of English novels or anything written in English that you can get your hands on. Doing so would give you a feel of the language, making you familiar with its rhythm (with the way sentences are structured)and with the idiomatic expressions that people commonly use.

I'm sure everyone would agree that hanging out here in QL would be another way for you to improve your English.
