My sister - I miss her.
Never thought I will miss my sister when I had those endless fights with her. She being a little ...shall I say, 'bit on the healthy side', always won most of the arguments by throwing her weight around (literally). I miss the very bossy nature which irritated me that time. But I do miss the warmth we shared and the way she cared for me when I would be down with flu. I miss the walk in the nearby park where she would poke fun on most of the joggers and made me split with laughter. I remember the time I had those sibling rivalry when we were kids and would never dress her doll even after her persistent requests. (For which I still keep appologising and she is good enough to say I don't remember it ever happened !!). There are so many memories they never end. I miss my sister.

I have always wished to have a sister - but I got three brothers instead .
It must be a very nice, strong relationship that I have never experienced .
Lucky you to have a sister !

Congrats Swissgirl. My sister is pregnant (5 months) and received the info today. So that may be the reason I am sort of dedicating this post to her and remembering her.
became her baby 2 weeks ago.A little boy.So sweet.Reminds me when my kids where newborn.Am so happy for her.
:-D
just teasing sweetie...and yeah mom_me...I know..all she's done and I still miss her...could be DUE to all she's done...
i don't have a sister so dont know the feeling to have one...
[img_assist|nid=12867|link=none|align=left|width=|height=0]Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood.
My sister would convince me to share my pocket money with her to get the novels of her likings. She would charge me for a shampoo and during our teens, wear my clothes without my information. Still I love her and really miss her.
my sister and i roomed together during college (BIG mistake..our monthly fights were legendary in the entire complex!)..I moan in my sleep, according to her) and would be drifting off to sleep and wham the tissue box would come flying and hit me in the face...
or during our monthly fights..she's make the mistake of hitting me then running away...mainly because she knew that if I caught her I'd knock the ever living out of her...so one day she got a good head start so I just picked up a book and nailed her right between the shoulder blades with it...I KNEW playing softball would come in handy some day..just didn't realize it would be in that form!
hehehe brings back memories...
My sister used to sleep in a high 'loft' bed (normal bedroom but she had to climb a tall ladder to get to her bed)
...she would wait until I walked past and then BAM! She'd drop a book on my head. OUCH!!!!!
it really HURT!!!!!
give you an example..i was in my room, drawing (I was 8)...she comes in and asks if i am hungry..and offers to make me a peanut butter and jelly sandwich..so she goes off..brings it back..i take a bite..and its loaded with TABASCO sauce!! She laughs then says ohh i'm sorry..let me get you some tea...goes and comes back with tea...again laced with Tabasco...(Ok..so I am trusting...evidently I STILL haven't learned not to do that yet!)..and that's just one minor example...
She mean to u ? Ha! yeah right :P
I'm not always right, but I'm never wrong- Garfield
mine was just flat out MEAN to me...but I still miss her...might want to throttle her at times, but still miss her
Miss my sister too...i wrote her a long email last night.
We always used to fight because she would steal my things and I would steal hers... :)
like all siblings, we fight like cats and dogs..but let someone else call your sister a name and you forget what YOU just called her and side with her against the other person..that's what families do.
Missing your sister is tough...but...just sit and think back to all those times you two just played and talked...acted completely silly...took up for one another...wanted to disown her because she was being mean to you..and enjoy those memories. Then the next time you get to see her..give her the biggest hug ever and totally confuse her!!! lol
Know what you mean..miss my sister also..
