Hi Guys! Badly need a advice please!!! Here's the thing. I have left Qatar for vacation and couldnt comeback on time (had a car accident back home in Romania) as a result i was terminated. I have took personal loan in Qatar Commercial Bank earlier,so now since i'm back from hospital and recovered i've found out CBQ filed the unpaid loan case against me in Qatar. Now i've recovered and willing to comeback to Qatar, as well i have received good job offer from Bahrain. Planning to accept offer and start payin out loan from Bahrain. The question is - if am gonna move to BAHRAIN would i be arrested upon arrival or extradited to Qatar,? Do QATAR and BAHRAIN have sharing system and etc.? Couldn't find info regarding this particular situation.

Thanks so much for your help guys! Appreciated!!

Here is the guidance that you are looking for:

The Bank can make a complaint with the local police in Doha, on your security loan cheque. If so, then the police puts up a travel ban on the borrower, in view of which the borrower cannot travel out of Qatar, but can come into Qatar.

This police case is local only, and is not transferable to any GCC country. Moreover there is no arrangement on it, between the GCC countries, so far.

The other case that the bank may have had filed, be the civil in the civil court of Doha. Also jurisdiction of this court is only limited within the boundaries of Qatar.

So, If you are picking up a job in Dubai or Bahrain, you can do so, without any legal hindance, and start paying the loan as per your new job plan.

BUT, if the bank, gets to know that you are in Bahrain, they may activate their "collection agent" there, who could start threatening methods to collect the repayment.

Another option is that if, you want to make an "out of court settlement" with the Bank, on a discounted amount, and withdraw the cases, then you may revert to me.
