All you need to know about Cinemas in Qatar during COVID-19
The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a big hit on cinema lovers, with the temporary shutting down of cinemas across Qatar during March. With increasing cases every day, the government had to take steps to reduce the spread of the virus.
However, phase four during September allowed the gradual reopening of many movie theatres across Qatar, so that you can once again grab that popcorn and nachos to watch all the latest releases.
Keep in mind that cinema capacity is now restricted to 15 percent and individuals age 18+ are only allowed. Moreover, you will be required to wear a mask and have a green status on the Ehteraz app.
Here is a list of movie theatres open right now in Qatar.
Vox Cinemas
Located in Doha Festival City, the location offers the perfect environment for movie enthusiasts who love to shop, participate in events, and enjoy a meal.
Vox Cinema's unique offerings from Theatre, Max, 4DX and Vox kids are sure to please customers will varying tastes.

Novo Cinema
Novo Cinemas offer one of the best experiences for movie lovers in Qatar, focusing on privacy and comfort.
With locations across The Pearl, Mall of Qatar, 01 Mall, Tawar Mall, and Souq Waqif, it presents an accessible option for many in Qatar.
Flick Cinema
Flick Cinema has locations at Lagoona Mall and Mirqab Mall, with the latter offering more choices.
However, you can visit their website to find all upcoming titles so that you may plan for your next blockbuster.
City Center Cinema
Located in the heart of West Bay, it is City Center Doha’s premium offering for those who love to watch movies.
They tend to feature all the latest releases, amazing cheese popcorn and is located next to the mall's food court.
Villaggio Cinema
Villaggio cinema is located in Villaggio Mall, right next to the Virgin retail outlet. Although they have many titles available, they are a bit underwhelming in the snacks department.

Mall Cinema
Mall Cinema is the only cinema to currently feature Attack on Titian: Chronicle, a favorite of many Anime lovers around the world. This cinema is located in The Mall.
B Square Mall Cinema
The cinema is currently celebrating the 25th anniversary of ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, an Indian movie released in 1995.
Located in B Square Mall, it is a must recommend for those who love the classic romantic film.

Landmark Cinema is located fairly close to Gulf Cinema, offering you the chance to pick for both of their offerings.
Landmark is currently featuring ‘The Craft: Legacy’, an American supernatural horror film.
Al Khor Mall Cinema
Opened in 2016, the cinema features limited titles and is located in Al Khor Mall. Titles currently featured include Come play (Horror), Honest Thief, and Hard Kill (Action).
