How to bring my car from Dubai to Doha via road?

Dear Members,

I've recently shifted for a new job from Dubai to Doha. I need to bring my car from Dubai and register it in Doha. Since it's a 2011 model, I’ve taken the approval paper from the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Qatar.

Now my doubts are;

1. Do I need to get an international driving license to drive it via Saudi? temporary visa?

2. What are the pre-requisites or precautions I need to consider before my drive?

3. I checked for sea freight and it turns out to be expensive and none quotes for land freight. Can someone refer Land Freight?

I haven’t been able to find any recent posts on this, hence trying to post one myself.

I hope someone here can give me clarity and point some references.
