Apartments in Doha - building information request

Hello all,

My family and I will be moving to Doha in the near future, I think a suitable area would be The Pearl or West Bay, West Bay Lagoon for our needs.

I havent managed to find much information on the build quality of the buildings. I have noticed the Pearl has slightly older buildings but they are very large in size whereas it seems downtown have newer buildings that would be slightly smaller.  For example in UAE, Emaar are generally known for having high finish apartments and villas, whose is the Qatar equivalent.

Havent seen any sticky threads on building recommendations so if anyone can share some info that would be much appreciated.
