Bringing things from Australia

Hi All - Quick question. we are looking to move to Doha from Australia and wondering about importing various electrical items.

For instance will our digital signal TVs work in Qatar.

Likewise is the voltage and frequency the "normal" 220-240 V 50-60 Hz? I know the plugs will be different.

Have any people in this forum made the Oz-Qatar move and have any other tips?

Just had a thought.. Will the TV from Oz have the picture upside down ?

If the items are pretty recent , then there is no problem .. Both countries use 220/240 at 50Hz
