Is Qatar a good country to settle in?

Assalamu Alaikum

As a Muslim, I've been very interested to make Hijrah in Qatar after knowing about its Islamic nature like Shari'a and an Islamic society. But, whomever I ask about Qatar, I get a negative impression like Qatar doesn't treat its immigrants well and Qataris are racist. Is that true? And, regarding Islam, how much Islamic is Qatar as a country (both the authority, legal system and the society)? How hard is it to settle there? Is it really worth it?
