The latest forecast from the Qatar Meteorology Department says that there are chances of rain starting from tomorrow, March 28, and to last until the end of the week.

In its official website, the Met Department said, “It is expected that the country is affected by extension of low pressure in the upper atmosphere starting from Monday night 28/03/2016 until the end of this week.

It would gradually lead to an increase in the amount of clouds, and the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chance of scattered rain especially on the northern and western regions of the country and extends to most areas on Thursday and Friday, which may be thundery at places at times”

According to Gulf Times, today “strong winds and high seas are likely in offshore areas by the afternoon.”

The forecast for inshore areas today says it will be relatively hot during the day with slight to blowing dust and scattered clouds.

Also, a sea warning too is expected tweeted the Met department due to fresh southerly winds reaching 18kt inshore and 22kt offshore.

The department further reported that there might be a gradual rise in temperature in certain areas, especially in the western parts that could reach up to the middle of thirties.
