Court sentences two expatriates to 15 years in jail
Two men, who were caught while attempting to rob a third person of a significant amount of money, were sentenced to 15 years in jail by the Court of Appeal, Gulf Times reported.
They will be deported once they finish their jail sentence. A local report said the court acquitted a third person.
The trio had been accused of attempting to steal the money of a company to resolve a personal financial crisis. On the day of salary payment, they attacked the employee in charge of money distribution and tried to grab QR6m.
But alert security staff averted the robbery attempt. While two of them were immediately arrested, the third escaped to another Gulf country. Interpol arrested him and brought him to Qatar, but he was acquitted.
@Molten Metal They deserve it. Being Human? what will happen had they succeeded? A lot of employees would be hungry by now! Employees who are the primary breadwinner of their respective families!

I don't go around robbing people and committing crimes ..
Now they will have plenty of time to reflect . Since you empathise with the criminals ,
Why don't you visit them in prison and counsel them in the coming years ?
Brit, 15 Years....... 15 Years is about 1/2 of your entire active life .......... The poor souls would stay idle for such a long long time ........... their dependents too would suffer for sure .......... it has a long reaching negative effect ......... on many innocent humans ....... ..... Brit , How long would you take to admit a mistake & correct yourself ....... 5 ---- 10 ------ 15 minutes ? ........
I think the the situation is clear - It was GREED.. They committed a crime and will now pay the price ..
We need to take into account ...... saying about the situation .......... the situation which made them commit such an act .............. to err is human ..............
Well done to the security staff .. Hope they were rewarded
