Here are two rumoured WhatsApp features that will change the way we communicate
It has been a few years since WhatsApp, owned by Facebook, revolutionised the way we send messages to our friends and loved ones.
WhatsApp has grown so much in popularity that it has led to a sharp decrease in the usage of SMSs and MMSs.
WhatsApp developers have always been careful to add popular features into the App to keep it fresh and popular. Some new features, which were recently spotted in the app’s beta versions, promises to make things even more exciting in the coming days. Here are two exciting features that are likely to roll out for everyone soon, as reported by Qatar Tribune.
Ability to edit sent messages
The ability to edit sent messages is one of the highly anticipated and long-awaited features on popular messaging service WhatsApp.
“WhatsApp had added in beta the possibility to edit messages that you already sent, and it is actually disabled by default and it’s under development,” reads a tweet by WABetaInfo.
Currently, WhatsApp enables users to delete a sent message and the recipient gets a notification saying the message has been deleted.
WhatsApp group calls
WhatsApp may soon roll out group calling feature that will let users add up to three members in a group video call. However, switching between group video call to voice call isn’t available yet. A total of four people would be a part of this group call, including the person who started the call. The feature is available in Android beta version 2.18.39.
Now Whatsapp calling is not working properly.
doesn't mean anything for us here in the region, what with WhatsApp calls being made inoperative; its a shame they had to do that.
wow its good news
