Hotel quarantine required for all arrivals starting February 14, except from green-list countries
Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Qatar has been working above and beyond to protect the health of its citizens and residents.
Based on travel and return policies to Qatar previously announced in-light of COVID-19 restrictions, it has been decided that no exceptions from the hotel quarantine will apply to those coming to Qatar from the countries not included in the Green List from February 14, 2021, Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) tweeted.

The decision also includes those who were previously excluded from the hotel quarantine before their travel and visitors coming to Qatar.
The Ministry affirmed that the current travel and return policy and the quarantine policy for countries included in the Green List will continue. Ministry will review the decision regularly and take necessary measures in accordance with the public health indicators in Qatar and the rest of the world.
The green list of countries are:
1 - Oman
2 - Brunei Darussalam
3 - Thailand
4 - China (A. Hong Kong SAR – China | B. Macau SAR – China)
5 - Vietnam
6 - Malaysia
7 - South Korea
8 - Singapore
9 - Japan
10 - Myanmar
11 - Maldives “Safe Travel Bubble” Package only
12 - Australia
13 - New Zealand
14 - Mexico
15 - Cuba
16 - Mauritius
17 - Iceland
18 - Ireland
