MEC orders company to shut down for two weeks following sale of expired item
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC) is cracking down on fraudulent business activities.
Just a couple of days after a company was fined and shut down for selling fake fire extinguishers, they announced the closure of an electrical appliances and sanitary installations company for displaying and selling expired silicone, reported Gulf Times.
The company, located in Madinat Khalifa South, was fined and closed for a two-week period.
