Mowasalat to roll out more taxis and buses for National Day
People planning to take part in National Day programmes will find it easy to get taxis, limousines and buses.
Mowasalat is increasing the number of taxis, limousines and buses to meet high demand for public transportation to venues for celebrations.
Vehicles will be increased where National Day festivities are planned, in particular.
Demand for public transportation surges across Qatar on National Day marked on December 18.
Khaled Kavood, Director, Public Relations, Mowasalat, said the company had increased the number of buses in the Corniche area so that people planning to watch the parade will not face any problem.
He said the company expected a large number of people going to the Corniche.
Mowasalat has also increased the number of taxis and limousines at Hamad International Airport to receive tourists coming to Doha to take part in National Day programmes. It has already decorated buses and taxies with national flags.
The company has expanded its reach to met the needs of the people by providing airport taxi, standard taxi, VIP limousine, standard limousine, public bus service, school bus service, and private hire bus and coach services. [The Peninsula]

its hard to get a karwa taxi on Friday mainly from lulu hyper.. everyone has a fixed Rates and they are not interested to come for small distances and no one follow meter. I am kindly requesting Mowasalat to look after this issue.
More karwa means More Accidents ,they are the negligent drivers causing accidents all over Qatar, Usually they drive by seeing the Meter instead to the Road and other Vehicles
