PHOTOS: Qatar take Gulf Cup victory celebrations to the streets

Qatar clinched their third Gulf Cup title on Wednesday after coming from behind to beat hosts Saudi Arabia 2-1 in Riyadh.

This is the first time Qatar has won the Gulf Cup away from home, the previous two victories in 1994 and 2004 being achieved in Qatar.

While the the national team celebrated their victory in Riyadh, the fans here at home were no less passionate. As is customary, citizens and expatriates rushed to the streets to celebrate the victory.

The Gulf Cup victory will now add more credibility to the 2022 FIFA World Cup host's. (If you watched the match, both teams gave it their all and no bribery was involved - pun intended)

Here's how Qatar fans at home celebrated...
